Shredders and grinders for wood
The waste entering a plant is never the same twice, so the shredder is chosen according to what exactly comes in. Vecoplan AG supplies complete lines for size reduction, separation and conveying.
The programme covers single-shaft and twin-shaft shredders, pre-shredders, re-shredders, bale openers, pallet shredders and drum chippers for energy wood chips.
The output particle size is set through a combination of rotor, screen and counter-knife, so the same machine adapts to both coarse pre-shredding and fine re-shredding.
The machines reduce wood, namely sawmill residue, pallets, crates, MDF, OSB and chipboard, as well as industrial waste.
Alongside the shredders come roller and disc separators, oscillating and star screens, a magnetic drum for inert matter and belt, screw and chain conveyors, all available as a turnkey delivery.
The result is a homogeneous particle size with little scatter, a prerequisite both for alternative fuel and recycling and for pelleting and briquetting of biomass.
The actual capacity is determined by the input material and the required output particle size, so it is calculated for each case separately.
